Language requirements
TOEFL iBT ≥90, IELTS Academic ≥6.5, Duolingo English Test ≥110, or PTE Academic ≥60. Exempt if the applicant's first language is English or the applicant completed or is completing a degree taught and assessed entirely in English.

- 7. Personal statement of no more than 5,000 English characters (including punctuation and spaces), covering study and work experience, academic achievements, expected research proposal, and career plan. Excess text may be uploaded under Supplementary Materials.

- Submit the original or a notarized copy, plus a notarized Chinese or English translation if the original is in neither language.
